DESIGNING WITH INDUSTRY & LEGAL LIMITATIONS IN MIND
Looking to disrupt the stigma around cannabis brands, District Derp was hellbent on removing questions around legalization, purchasing and use. They needed a website that could function as a normal eCommerce site and garner brand recognition and adhere to the industry's restrictions.
Taking all of this into consideration, we focused on content strategy and design as we looked to develop content that would educate and breed trust with customers. It was imperative to clear up questions about how the purchasing process works from the get-go, using custom illustrations and lifestyle imagery to solidify District Derp as honest, trustworthy and artistic.
Since launching in 2018, the customer base and following have seen consistent growth. We've continued to partner with them as they introduce new lines and product categories and collaborations with other brands.
